We recently received so many donations from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). A big thank you to Sonia Nelson, President of the AACN, for collecting and packing all those boxes of clothes, toiletries and shoes for HHBS!

These items have been distributed by hand to the community of Haiti and the HHBS school.

Thank you for your continued support.

Hurricane Matthew - Update

Thousands of people are homeless.

Thousands of people are homeless.

Entire City Destroyed

Entire City Destroyed

It is with great sadness to report that in recent days, Haiti has been devastated once again, this time by Hurricane Matthew. Not only has the storm wreaked havoc upon Haiti and its citizens, causing loss of many lives, property and infrastructure, but HHBS has been impacted directly as well.

Our school in Croix de Boquets is underwater.  All our efforts and hard work over the last 8 years has been destroyed and we must now start all over again. I am sure you all agree that we must refuse to let Hurricane Matthew set us back or stop us in our tracks. The community we serve is in dire need of food, clean drinking water, and shelter. Hand To Hand Distribution is what we know and what we will continue to do.

With your help,  HHBS will stay true to its mission to provide immediate relief to the people in need. I ask for your help in this critical time, to begin rebuilding our adopted community; one step at a time, one child at a time.

As always, thank for your continued support and trust since 2009 .
– Fran Juste, HHBS President and Founder

Your donation will go directly toward HURRICANE MATTHEW Relief & Aid for the HHBS Community. HHBS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which makes all donations to us tax deductible. No donation is too small.
